Anon Poetry - the anonymous poetry magazine. Web site appears active, but the publicationhas been silent for a couple of years. One to watch?
Cinnamon Press - publisher offering regular competitions as a method of identifying new poets for publication. Fantastic catalogue of published poets. Also publishes long-standing journal "Envoi".
Erbacce Press - Liverpool based publisher of the journal "Erbacce", run by Alan Corkish and Andrew Taylor. Prolific publisher of chap books and collections, their annual prize in a free to enter competition is publication of a full collection with chap books for the runners up.
Grist Poetry - details of competitions and accompanying anthologies.
Indigo Dreams - small publisher with the usual anthologies, collections, and competitions, but also a monthly magazine available singly or by annual subscription, "Reach".
Happen Stance - an independent publisher specialising in poetry pamphlets. Also a fantastic resource.
Horizon Review - the e-zine of Salt Publishing. Well worth a read. Details of how to submit work detailed here as well.
Magma Poetry - another journal, published three times a year. Again personally recommended.
Nutshells and Nuggets - an e-zine providing a home for the shorter poem. Well supported and impressive.
Pighog Press - small publisher with a genuinely ecclectic track record.
Poetry Library Competitions - the largest collection of competition details in one place.
Poetry Library - an on-line resource, managed by the Southbank Centre, which publishes on-line copies of poetry magazines. Great selection all free to view.
Poetry Society - established in 1909, organisers of the National Poetry Competition and publishers of Poetry review.
Provo Canyon Review - US Based Webzine open for poetry submissions all year. Editions appear per calendar month.
Ragged Raven Press - one of our rich heritage of small independent publishers. Anthologies, collections and competitions.
Red Squirrel Press - benchmark independent publisher. established in April 2006 by Sheila Wakefield. Two annual competitions.
Rhyming Dictionary - a free to use on-line resource for poets et al.
Rogets Thesaurus - an excellent searchable on-line version of the original (and the best) thesaurus.
Snakeskin - well established, highly regarded e-zine. Full details of how to submit work and guidance on selection criteria.
Shooter Literary Magazine - A new print journal due to launch December 2014, 2nd edition due June 2015.
The Lake - UK Based Webzine open for poetry submissions all year. Editions appear each callendar month.
The Passionate Transitory - no longer active. All previous editions available as an on-line archive.
The Penny Dreadful - Irish based print journal, check the web site for submission periods. 
Three Drops From A Cauldron - an on-line journal for myth, legend, folklore, fable and fairytale.
Thynks Publications Ltd - Poetry publisher running nemerous competitions. Publisher of my collection "Human Engineering".

Zoomorphic - a new (2015) on-line lierary magazine dedicated to writing that deepens our connection with wildlife and the more-than-human world.
